Based out of Corning, Iowa and raised on a southwest Iowa farm operation specializing in corn, soybeans, cow/calf, and swine, Rex graduated from Iowa State with an Agricultural Business degree. Rex then worked for Garst & Thomas Hybrids of Coon Rapids, Iowa in the accounting department. Coming back home, Rex farmed with his dad, and started Townsend Ag Supply. Rex now works with the Conklin Agrovantage System assisting producers towards greater profitability. Rex will be giving a special presentation on how to dial in nutrient needs with a complete soil test, and a customized "road map" for your crop. Derrick Dohmann is the Horizon Hemp Seeds Sales and Marketing Manager. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Management from the University of Jamestown. Derrick is originally from Spicer, Minnesota and currently resides in Clark, South Dakota with his wife Emily. He has a wide variety of sales experience and is a proud partner of Horizon Hemp Seeds.

Colin has organized and hosted Hemp educational forums across Nebraska, South Dakota & Iowa. Colin is a Hemp equipment dealer for Agri-Product's Inc.Tom's Tumbler, & VZ-Tec. Colin services Hemp farmers and businesses by helping them with regulatory issues, business plans, genetics acquisition, best growing practices, product manufacturing and marketing. When he is not busy growing, chipping up Hemp or making CBD salve, Colin enjoys watching Houston Astros baseball and gardening.

Ken Meyer is the President of the SDIHA and is Vice President of A.H. Meyer and Sons, Inc, is a four generation family beekeeping business that owns and operates a beeswax rendering plant servicing beekeeping clients throughout the United States. The Meyer's also own and operate an industrial hemp processing facility to decorticate hemp stalk into hemp hurd and bast fiber. They actively buy hemp fiber round bales in the Midwest, doing business in the hemp space as Complete Hemp Processing. Since Ken Meyer left his previous career as a licensed attorney in Mississippi and South Dakota, and time as the Lake County States' Attorney to join his family's four generation business, he has been active in the management of the beeswax rendering facility and the hemp decortication facility. John also has also grown at least 2 acres of CBD hemp each year since 2021. John started Dakota Hemp and purchased a Hemptrain from Canadian Greenfield, it has been delivered and we are starting facility construction this spring.
